Jon & Claire’s wedding

Jon and Claire held their wedding at the Intercontinental Hotel in downtown San Francisco, California. They had a lovely traditional Catholic ceremony on the roof top followed by portraits in the scenic Yerba Buena Park near the waterfall.

As the two have an amazing sense of humor, they surrounded themselves by equally sassy friends and family. The result was an afternoon of portraits filled with smiles and gangster signs, followed by a cocktail hour of levity. Their wedding had a baseball theme with blue being the predominant colour.

As the groom used to teach a drum line, he was surprised by his old crew showing up and performing a number he had created. Some common wedding traditions such as the garter toss and the money dance turned racy as everyone went out of their way to make each other laugh until the end of the evening.

Corey and Cheyanne got married on a gorgeous summer day at the Millarville Race Track near Turner Valley, Alberta in Canada. As avid nature lovers and ranching enthusiasts, the wedding had a distinctive Albertan cowboy theme. The skies seemed to follow the motif by being covered in a billowing Chinook Arch, the local cloud structure caused by being on the Eastern edge of the Rocky Mountains.

It was a very relaxed and casual vintage wedding, perfectly suited to the couple. However, in proper cowboy style it quickly turned into a glass clinking, Jack Daniels drinking rowdy affair with much toe-tapping and boot stomping until the wee hours of the morning.

Jon and Claire have more than just their love for each other in common. They both are avid baseball fans, with Claire even being a professional Sports Journalist. They have two dogs, named after their favourite boozes, and they both ride motorcycles as a hobby. With so many passions it was easy to select the San Francisco Giants ballpark and Twin Peaks lookout for their engagement shoot session. Add on some shots of their gorgeous rings from Tiffany’s, and the day of romance is complete.

Cam and Lisa got ready for their big day at their respective parents homes in Sydney, Australia. They then made the journey towards the wedding venue at the Sergeant’s Mess in Chowder Bay where their outdoor ceremony overlooked the water. Threatening rain, the weather held for the entire time including a portrait session for the wedding party on a nearby beach.

Their venue was perfect for mingling and the food was amazing to top it off. The couple danced the night away, stopping briefly for a quick kiss or two in the strikingly decorated downstairs foyer.

A well known web geek couple, Kevin and Coley decided to have their wedding on 10.10.10 because of the binary values. It also came down to 42, which is the answer to life the universe and everything according to Douglas Adams fans.

While their date was based on geeky values, their wedding was fully steeped in vintage charms. The wedding party walked as a parade holding ribbon laden polls all the way to the Conservatory of Flowers at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. They had a gorgeous outdoor ceremony where guests unraveled their wedding rings from a giant ball of ribbon as the ceremony progressed.

An amazing cocktail hour followed in the Conservatory of Flowers itself with a delicious full meal and much merriment.
